Your new role
ICT Sourcing and Contracts professional required to lead category management and strategic sourcing activities across a diverse technology spend portfolio. This role will focus on building category strategies, managing supplier relationships, delivering sourcing initiatives, and providing commercial expertise across key ICT categories.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement ICT category management frameworks and sourcing strategies
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing projects across technology categories
- Develop category plans aligned to business objectives and market trends
- Negotiate complex contracts and commercial agreements with suppliers
- Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost optimisation and innovation
- Manage supplier performance and drive value throughout the contract lifecycle
- Provide procurement and commercial advice across ICT projects and programs
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in ICT procurement, category management, and strategic sourcing
- Strong knowledge of Cloud, Software, Hardware, Telecommunications and Professional Services procurement.
- Previous experience Defence, Manufacturing, Engineering background desirable.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale sourcing and contract negotiation activities
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Experience developing category strategies and implementing procurement best practices
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced and complex environment
- Excellent commercial acumen and contract management expertise
