As a result of the continuous increase in our activities, we are seeking a Trainee Solicitor (Stagiaire – List II) to join our Luxembourg team.

As part of the Luxembourg Corporate & Finance team, you will be working on complex and challenging matters for a wide range of international and local corporations, asset managers, private equity firms, financial institutions, etc.

Under the supervision of the relevant partners and associates/senior associates, your main focus areas will be to:

  • Draft and review articles of incorporation, LPAs, board and shareholders resolutions and all types of transactional documents
  • Draft and review corporate resolutions, legal opinions, loan agreements, pledge agreements, guarantees and other types of transactional documents in relation to all types of corporate transactions (corporate restructurings, mergers & acquisitions, migrations, joint ventures, financings etc) / financing transactions (bank financing, notes issuances, securitization transactions, repo transactions etc),
  • Take part in client meetings and conference calls,
  • Ensure legal monitoring and conduct legal researches on corporate/banking and finance matters,
  • Be part of the team and work in close cooperation with the other team members,
  • Contributing to new business initiatives, “know-how” development and incorporating innovative ideas to create working efficiencies.

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • Qualification: Master’s degree in law (or equivalent) - admission to the Luxembourg bar list II,
  • You have gained professional experience during at least 1 year in the field of banking &
  • finance or corporate in an international law firm in Luxembourg,
  • You have excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in both English and French; knowledge of German will be considered as an asset,
  • You have strong analytical skills,
  • You approach your work with high level of rigor, organisation and confidentiality,
  • You are dynamic and motivated,
  • You would like to develop your skills in an international environment, and you are committed to offering clients excellent service and actionable solutions on complex and challenging projects.
