As a Project Manager, reporting to the PMO Manager within the Occlutech Project Management Office, you will play a key role in planning, executing, and delivering strategic projects across the organization.
Your work will focus on
- Lead and manage cross functional strategic projects from initiation through closure, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to define project goals, timelines, and resource needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including project management plans, timelines, risk registers, and status reports.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, issues and address bottlenecks, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
- Prepare and present project updates to senior leadership and the Project Steering Committee.
- Facilitate effective communication within project teams, promoting transparency, alignment, and proactive problem-solving.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO tools, templates, and processes.
- Support portfolio-level activities such as project prioritization, resource planning, governance and reporting.
- Support executive decision-making through data-driven project reporting and KPIs
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams in a regulated medical device environment
- Drive risk management, issue resolution, and change control activities.
- Drive project selection and investment decisions through business analysis, feasibility assessments, cost-benefit evaluations, and business case preparation.
We are looking for a candidate, who
- Proven experience managing new product development and/or operational improvement projects.
- Experience with business case, feasibility study preparation.
- Experience with project management best practices (especially in waterfall), PMI standards and project management tools.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- 5-10 years of relevant professional experience; experience in the medical device industry is an advantage)
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
- Experience in working within a PMO environment is a strong plus.
