A leadership opportunity with an international dental and medical technology organisation seeking a commercially driven General Manager to lead its Taiwan business. This is a senior country leadership role for an experienced executive with a background in dental, medical device, healthcare technology, or related capital equipment markets.
The successful candidate will take ownership of business performance in Taiwan, combining strategic planning, operational discipline, team leadership, and hands-on commercial execution. You will be responsible for driving sustainable growth across the Taiwanese market, leading commercial strategy, developing customer and channel relationships, and ensuring strong business performance. The role offers the opportunity to shape local market execution while working with regional and international stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Taiwan business and take responsibility for overall commercial and operational performance.
- Develop and execute local sales and marketing strategies to support sustainable growth.
- Drive sales performance across dental, medical device, healthcare technology, or related equipment markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, channel partners, and key opinion leaders.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Lead, coach, and develop the local commercial team.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, reporting, and business planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulatory requirements.
- Support the commercialisation of complex products, including software-enabled and capital equipment solutions.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in general management, country management, commercial leadership, or senior sales leadership in Taiwan.
- Background in dental, medical device, healthcare technology, or a closely related sector.
- Experience selling, marketing, or supporting complex products, ideally including capital equipment and software-based solutions.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop commercial teams.
- Experience working with direct sales and distributor or channel partner models.
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers, partners, and key opinion leaders.
- Fluent Mandarin and English language skills.
