The Country Manager is a highly organized, hands-on leader responsible for executing WGACA’s presence across key events, conferences, trunk shows, retail activations and wholesale environments. As the primary "boots on the ground" representative of the brand, this role ensures every customer and partner touchpoint reflects the company's brand standards through exceptional product presentation, merchandising, and event execution.

This role owns the development and execution of wholesale merchandising standards, ensuring a consistent and elevated brand experience across all retail and wholesale partners. In addition to field execution, the Country Manager serves as a trusted operational partner to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing by managing calendars, coordinating projects and priorities and ensuring seamless execution of strategic initiatives.

Working cross-functionally with Business Development, Brand Marketing, Public Relations, Wholesale and Senior Leadership, the Country Manager supports business growth, strengthens strategic partnerships and delivers exceptional brand experiences that drive awareness and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Brand, Merchandising & Event Execution

  • Serve as the primary field representative and brand ambassador at conferences, trade shows, trunk shows, product launches, retail activations and corporate events.
  • Lead all aspects of event planning, product presentation, merchandising, setup, execution and breakdown while ensuring flawless execution and adherence to brand standards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain wholesale merchandising guidelines to ensure a consistent, premium brand presentation across all wholesale partners.
  • Partner with wholesale accounts to execute merchandising standards and identify opportunities to enhance product placement, visual presentation and the customer experience.
  • Conduct regular store visits and merchandising audits to evaluate execution, provide recommendations, and ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Coordinate wholesale showroom and in-store merchandising setup to create engaging, customer-focused retail environments.
  • Ensure all products, displays, fixtures, marketing collateral and event assets are presentation-ready and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Support seasonal campaigns, product launches, retail openings/activations and strategic marketing initiatives through exceptional execution.
  • Maintain inventory and organization of event materials, product samples, and merchandising assets.

Product Knowledge & Brand Representation

  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of all product categories and serve as a trusted resource for internal teams, retail partners, and customers.
  • Deliver product education and training for wholesale partners, internal stakeholders, and event staff to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Represent the brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a customer-first mindset in all interactions.
  • Gather and communicate customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence to support future marketing and merchandising strategies.

Relationship Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, wholesale partners, retailers, agencies and key external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development, Brand Marketing, Public Relations, Wholesale, Sales, and Senior Leadership to execute strategic initiatives and business objectives.
  • Serve as a key liaison between corporate teams and field partners to ensure alignment on brand priorities and execution.
  • Foster collaborative partnerships that support business growth and enhance the overall customer experience.

Executive Support, Calendar & Project Management

  • Coordinate meetings, travel, project timelines, and event logistics across multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, marketing calendars, event schedules, action items, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project milestones and proactively follow up with cross-functional teams to ensure deadlines and objectives are achieved.
  • Anticipate scheduling conflicts, shifting priorities and operational needs while providing solutions to maintain momentum.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for key marketing initiatives and leadership projects.

Operational Excellence

  • Coordinate domestic travel and international travel arrangements when applicable.
  • Prepare post-event reports detailing execution, visual presentations competitive insights and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve merchandising standards, operational processes, event execution, and field efficiencies.
  • Create and ensure consistent execution of brand standards across all customer-facing environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 5–8 years of experience in brand marketing, field marketing, event marketing, wholesale, retail merchandising, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing visual merchandising standards within a wholesale or retail environment.
  • Proven success executing conferences, trade shows, product launches, retail activations, and brand events.
  • Experience managing executive calendars, complex projects, and multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of visual merchandising, product presentation, and retail execution.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with project management platforms is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight and international travel as business needs require.
