Role Description The Regional Sales Manager for the North East Region is a full-time, remote role responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration within an North East territory for BLANCO America’s premium kitchen water hub solutions. This role involves managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with distributors, retailers, designers, and other channel partners. The Regional Sales Manager will execute regional sales strategies, conduct regular sales visits and virtual meetings, deliver product presentations and training, and analyze sales performance to identify trends and opportunities. Day-to-day responsibilities include forecasting and reporting, monitoring competitor activity, collaborating with internal teams on promotions and pricing, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The role also requires participation in trade events, coordination of local marketing initiatives, and consistent communication with leadership to align regional activities with national sales objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven regional or territory sales experience in consumer products, building materials, or kitchen/bath industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong skills in account management, relationship building, and customer service to support distributors, retailers, and design professionals.
- Ability to develop and execute sales plans, analyze sales data, and use CRM tools to manage pipelines and reporting.
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills for product training, sales meetings, and contract discussions.
- Self-directed work style with strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills in a remote environment.
- Comfort with digital tools and virtual collaboration platforms for remote customer engagement and internal coordination.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed for customer visits, events, and trade shows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in the kitchen, home improvement, or design-related sectors is highly beneficial.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and managing channel holistically (omnichannel) in close interaction w/ market lead other relevant stakeholders (i.e. e-Trade responsible, Products etc.)
- Responsible for driving sales, profit growth and managing marketing mix (4P) within channel including responsibility for overall gross sales & profit budget
- Responsible for relationship development/ maintenance with all direct buy customers and influencers (i.e. designers)
- Responsible for generating deep understanding of assigned channel/ account and continuously identifying new business opportunities
- Responsible for best serving customer/ consumers within the channels in close interaction w/ other internal departments
- Responsible for adequate BLANCO brand representation as well as steering management and education of sales agencies
- Responsible for managing and developing the Sales Management Wholesale team including Showrooms and Business Development
- Responsible for accurate sales forecasting and demand planning
- Responsible for communicating on individual channel/ account requirements to product, operations, customer care, A/R and other stakeholders
- Develop and implement ongoing strategic approach w/ market lead to leverage channel potential
