Description

LeverageTek is actively seeking an IT Risk Manager for a 6-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

The successful candidate will be required to work remotely.

Key Tasks

  • Administer and maintain the enterprise IT Risk Register
  • Ensure risk records are complete, accurate, and current
  • Monitor risk mitigation plans and follow up on outstanding actions
  • Coordinate risk management activities across business and technology teams
  • Support governance forums and risk escalation processes
  • Prepare executive-level risk reports and dashboards
  • Analyze risk trends and identify emerging risk themes
  • Develop Power BI dashboards and visualizations
  • Deliver supporting documentation including data models and reporting specifications
  • Promote consistent risk management practices across Digital Technology Services

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Risk Management, Technology Governance, Audit, Compliance, IT Controls, or Operational Risk
  • Experience managing enterprise IT Risk Registers and preparing reports for senior leadership and governance committees
  • Advanced Power BI reporting and dashboard development experience

Qualifications

  • Experience working with ServiceNow, Archer, SharePoint, GRC platforms, or similar tools
  • Strong stakeholder management, coordination, and communication skills
  • Experience within banking, financial services, Crown corporations, or government organizations
  • Familiarity with enterprise risk management frameworks (CRISC, COBIT, ITIL, or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting governance-driven environments
  • Relevant certifications an asset: CRISC, CISSP, CISM, PMP, ITIL, CGEIT, or COBIT-related

Compensation Hourly Rate Negotiable This is an existing position vacancy.
