Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced OTC Trader to facilitate OTC trading. The ideal candidate will have deep market knowledge, strong counterparty relationships, and the ability to price and execute large-block trades while managing risk and ensuring compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide competitive bid/ask pricing based on market liquidity, volatility, and risk appetite.
- Act as a market maker, balancing inventory and minimizing slippage for large transactions.
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers and liquidity providers
- Monitor and manage exposure, ensuring adherence to risk limits and trading mandates.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., AML, KYC, Dodd-Frank, MiFID).
- Work with legal and compliance teams on trade documentation (e.g., ISDA, CSA).
Qualifications
- 3+ years of OTC trading experience (crypto, FX, fixed income, or commodities preferred).
- Strong understanding of OTC market structure, liquidity dynamics, and settlement processes.
- Proven ability to price and execute large-block trades with minimal market impact.
- Familiarity with trading platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or crypto OTC desks).
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., EMIR, Dodd-Frank, Basel III) and trade documentation.
- Quantitative mindset with proficiency in Excel, Python, or SQL (a plus).
