Competing at the pinnacle of sport—as an Olympian, World Champion, or D1 First Team All-American—requires discipline and commitment. The question is whether you can convert those principles into concrete coaching methodologies that elevate students into top performers.

At Texas Sports Academy, your field of impact shifts to developing champions—not from the sidelines, but through direct, daily coaching that drives students beyond their perceived boundaries. You won't simply recount your athletic career. You'll apply elite-level discipline to build practical motivation frameworks, deliver resilience training in interactive workshops, and lead intensive practice sessions where every participant is measured against championship expectations.

Austin provides consistent outdoor training conditions, a robust sports community, and a purpose-centered environment in which your competitive background becomes the cornerstone for guiding emerging leaders.

Lead with intention. Drive change through engagement. Submit your application today.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Conducting focused 1:1 coaching sessions in which you convert your athletic expertise into concrete, implementable motivational techniques
  • Delivering high-impact morning assemblies designed to energize the full student community
  • Guiding interactive life skills workshops, actively coaching participants through exercises in resilience, leadership, and strategic goal-setting
  • Directing structured afternoon athletic training sessions that embody championship principles: creating drills, demanding maximum effort, refining technique, and instilling grit and collaboration through competitive sport (not merely overseeing activity)
  • Maintaining active engagement with all students across the day: moving through spaces during independent study periods, intervening to inspire when you observe someone struggling, and generating real-time learning opportunities that spark transformative insights

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Observing from a distance in a symbolic capacity: this role demands active floor presence, direct student interaction, session leadership, and immediate intervention.
  • Delivering conventional academic instruction or adhering to set curricula: students progress through adaptive digital platforms. Your focus is life coaching, motivation, and cultivating meta-competencies via athletics and mentorship.
