In this role, you’ll take on responsibility for VAT advisory work, collaborate closely with a range of interesting clients and contribute your specialist knowledge to a dynamic, international environment. The role offers varied responsibilities, interdisciplinary collaboration and opportunities for your professional development.

What you’ll own

• Advising individuals and companies on VAT matters – both nationally and internationally
• Assessing VAT obligations in relation to cross-border supplies
• Supporting clients from registration to deregistration from the Swiss VAT register
• Providing advice on specific legal VAT issues
• Preparing VAT returns and reconciling output and input tax
• Conducting VAT reviews and training sessions
• Assisting with VAT audits

What you bring

The essentials

• You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Economics or Law
• You have several years’ professional experience in the field of VAT and have acquired in-depth knowledge in this specialised area
• Willingness to take on further training in VAT (e.g. MAS VAT)
• Full business fluency in English and German, both written and spoken is a must

A strong advantage

• Experience in a fiduciary and/or consultancy environment
• Background in an international and entrepreneurial environment
• Familiarity with client advisory and working in cross-functional teams
