For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $116,500 – $225,300 annually
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain production software solutions
- Apply consistent design principles to ensure high-quality software across all stages of development
- Leverage AI tools throughout the development cycle, critically evaluating AI-generated outputs
- Engage in system architecture discussions, implementing mature design patterns for secure and resilient systems
- Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to align with design goals
- Collaborate with product teams to define scope and assess business impact
- Identify and mitigate technical debt to improve team effectiveness
- Drive technical task refinement, breaking down epics and stories into manageable tasks
Qualifications
- Comfortable with ambiguity and possesses strong systems thinking and business acumen
- Proficiency in Typescript programming
- Experience with Postgres or comparable database development
- Familiarity with Docker for containerization
- Strong stakeholder communication skills, effective in collaborating on project scope and business value
- M.S. or B.S. in Computer Science or a related STEM field
- 4+ years of experience operating at Software Engineer I/II level
