Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Consumer - Payments)

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer Frontend (consumer - Payments) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $186,065 – $218,900 annually

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end frontend development of crypto payment features for web and mobile
• Drive enhancements in latency, availability, and service reliability for payment processes
• Develop new user-facing features like contact management and transaction tracking
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute projects enhancing customer experience
• Identify and fix frontend performance issues to improve speed and reliability for users

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in React and React Native
• Proven ability to launch consumer-facing products in high-scale environments
• Experience in managing service level objectives (SLOs) and improving performance metrics
• Demonstrated mentoring skills for junior engineers
• Proficient in using generative AI responsibly for workflow improvements
