For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer Applications to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $100,000 – $140,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Shape the product by collaborating on design and execution
- Lead the design and implement core application components
- Establish quality standards and release criteria
- Define best practices for AI-assisted development
- Build end-to-end product capabilities using Python and Next.js
- Develop tooling that enhances developer experience and automates tasks
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new capabilities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with leadership skills
- Strong background in production distributed systems and backend services
- Proficient in Python with full-stack experience in Next.js/TypeScript
- Fluency in AI coding tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot
- Experience with agentic coding workflows and multi-step automation
- Solid system design expertise across APIs and data flows
- Familiarity with healthcare SaaS and multi-tenant architectures
