To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Sales Junior.

Job Description :

The Junior Sales Representative contributes to the LASEA Group’s business development by identifying new leads, following up on opportunities, and building a client portfolio in strategic markets (Luxury, Micromechanics, MedTech, Electronics, Aerospace & Defense).

Working closely with the sales, technical, and marketing teams, he or she actively participates in identifying customer needs, preparing proposals, and following up on sales projects.

Your responsibilities :

  • Develop a portfolio of prospects and clients in target markets.
  • Conduct active prospecting through email, video conferences, client visits, and trade show participation.
  • Be able to practice active listening in order to identify, understand, and clarify customers’ needs.

Translate these needs into specific requirements and develop a customized business solution, taking into account

technical aspects, quality, costs, and deadlines.

  • Qualify sales opportunities by analyzing the purchasing process and the competition.
  • Prepare sales proposals in collaboration with the Engineering Sales team and technical teams as needed.
  • Follow up on proposals and negotiations through to the close of sales.
  • Contribute to expanding the Group’s presence among existing customers and in new markets.
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with customers and ensure regular follow-up.
  • Ensure that the CRM and collaborative tools are up to date to guarantee proper coordination of sales data.

  • Meet the revenue and margin targets set with your manager.
  • Expand your client portfolio and increase market share across various territories.
  • Participate in the implementation of sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Represent the company positively to clients and partners.
  • Ensure that market and client concerns are reported to the sales director and the design and production teams

Your profile :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, sales engineering, or a technical field
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a B2B sales role, ideally in an industrial, technology, or high-precision environment.
  • Customer- and results-oriented: strong ability to prospect and develop new business.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, active listening skills, and the ability to understand customers’ technical needs.
  • Well-organized and able to manage your account portfolio independently.
  • Diligent in tracking accounts and reporting.
  • Ability to build lasting, trusting relationships.
  • Technical curiosity and interest in innovative technologies, both at LASEA and on the client side.
  • Team player with a desire to learn.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative.
  • Adaptability and ability to manage priorities in a changing environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM and ERP tools and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Fluent in French and English; any other language is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within Belgium and internationally.
  • Experience or knowledge in the fields of lasers and photonics is considered an advantage.
  • A good understanding of the watchmaking and/or medtech markets is also an asset.
