For our Finance Team, we are looking for:
Head of Reporting & Controlling (m/w/n)
On location: Masterfoam SRL – Bistrița, Romania
As Head of Reporting & Controlling, you will be responsible for Group Reporting and Controlling activities across all Masterfoam entities, reporting directly to the Finance Director. You ensure accurate, timely and reliable financial data and play a key role in improving reporting processes, data quality and business insights.
Job Description
Tasks & responsibilities:
Reporting & Consolidation
- Prepare and coordinate monthly group reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow)
- Ensure timely quarterly reporting towards Board and shareholders
- Safeguard consistency and reliability of financial data across all entities
Intercompany & Transfer Pricing
- Maintain a structured intercompany (IC) reconciliation process
- Identify and resolve IC mismatches across entities
- Ensure correct IC eliminations in Bright Analytics
- Follow up on the Group Transfer Pricing policy
Management Reporting
- Prepare monthly Sales Reports for CEO, Sales team and Plant Management
- Prepare weekly and monthly Management Information (MI) reports
- Act as central reporting point (shared service) for all plants
Controlling & Data Quality
- Ensure alignment between:
- Group Financial reporting
- local statutory accounts
- consolidated financial statements
- Detect and resolve data inconsistencies (IC, mappings, structure)
Business Controlling (Future)
- Develop margin and profitability analysis per customer, product and plant
- Support sales with customer and pricing analysis
- Contribute to performance insights and decision-making
Successful Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in reporting, controlling or group finance
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus)
- Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Bright Analytics) is a strong advantage
- Good understanding of intercompany and reporting principles
- Fluent in English and Romanian
- Proactive, structured and hands-on
