Entry-Level Recruiter

We are looking for an Entry-Level Recruiter who is motivated, coachable, organized, and excited to build a career in recruiting. This person will support candidate sourcing, outreach, screening, interview coordination, and pipeline management while learning the full recruiting process.

This role is remote, but we would prefer someone located in Ohio, ideally in or near the Akron area.

Responsibilities

  • Source, identify, and engage potential candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, our internal database, and other recruiting tools.
  • Learn how to evaluate candidates based on experience, qualifications, career goals, compensation expectations, and overall fit.
  • Conduct candidate outreach through phone, email, text, and LinkedIn messaging.
  • Screen candidates and gather key information to help determine fit for open roles.
  • Assist with building candidate pipelines for active and future searches.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process.
  • Track candidate activity, notes, and pipeline progress within the ATS/CRM.
  • Partner with internal team members to understand job requirements, search strategy, and recruiting priorities.
  • Follow recruiting best practices for candidate communication, screening, scheduling, and follow-up.
  • Contribute to a positive, competitive, and team-oriented recruiting culture.

Requirements

  • Interest in building a career in recruiting, sales, talent acquisition, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with people by phone, email, text, and video.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up consistently.
  • Coachable, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working remotely while staying productive, accountable, and engaged with the team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Strong commitment to providing a high level of service to candidates, clients, and internal team members.
  • Previous experience in recruiting, sales, customer service, staffing, or business development is preferred but not required.
  • Ohio-based candidates preferred, ideally in or near the Akron area.
