Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts in compliance with UK GAAP and Group reporting requirements
Ensure that all transactions are booked accurately and the trial balance is maintained and closed at period ends in a timely and accurate fashion
Deliver clear variance analysis (actual vs budget vs forecast) with actionable insights
Prepare contract-level profitability analysis to support operational improvements and strategic decision making
Produce cash flow forecasts to support with budgeting, forecasting and working capital management
Manage provisioning for stock obsolescence
Produce UK statutory accounts and maintain your technical proficiency by reviewing changes to relevant accounting standards, exposure drafts and other reporting requirements
Prepare and submit VAT and any other regulatory returns as necessary
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop common reporting templates across the business in line with Division standards
Drive automation and digitalisation of finance processes using Business and Artificial Intelligence tools
Support relationships with a range of important external stakeholders including our auditors, bankers, insurers and pensions advisors.

Desirable:
Contract accounting experience
Awareness of digital tools and automation in finance is an advantage.
