Location: Hybrid in Long Beach, CA

Focus

  • Develop new commercial business opportunities throughout Southern California.
  • Prospect through cold calling, networking, referrals, site visits, and relationship building.
  • Establish relationships with facility managers, property management companies, commercial building owners, manufacturers, industrial organizations, restaurant groups, and general contractors.
  • Identify opportunities for commercial HVAC service, repairs, preventative maintenance programs, and mechanical improvement projects.
  • Conduct customer meetings and site evaluations to understand client needs.
  • Prepare estimates and proposals with assistance from internal technical resources.
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline and accurately track activity within the CRM system.
  • Present solutions, negotiate agreements, and close new business opportunities.
  • Transition newly secured customers to internal service teams while continuing to develop new business.
  • Represent the organization professionally within the commercial facilities marketplace.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of outside B2B sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success in new business development.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and proactive prospecting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass background and driving eligibility requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Commercial HVAC or mechanical contractor sales experience.
  • Experience selling commercial building services or facility solutions.
  • CRM experience, HubSpot preferred.
  • Experience estimating commercial service opportunities or willingness to learn.
