Role Description This is a full-time, on-site US & UK Payroll Specialist role based in the United States. The Payroll Specialist will manage end-to-end payroll processing for US and UK employees, ensuring accurate and timely payroll runs in compliance with local regulations and company policies. Responsibilities include maintaining payroll records, validating time and attendance data, handling adjustments, and coordinating with HR and Finance on payroll-related matters. The role will also involve calculating and processing garnishments, taxes, and other statutory deductions, as well as resolving employee payroll inquiries and discrepancies. The Payroll Specialist will support audits, generate payroll reports, assist with process improvements, and contribute to the implementation of payroll best practices across regions.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in payroll administration and payroll processing for US and UK employee populations.
  • Experience with payroll taxes and statutory deductions, including compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Knowledge of garnishments and related payroll services, including accurate calculation, documentation, and remittance.
  • Proficiency with payroll systems and HRIS tools, and the ability to work with large data sets and spreadsheets.
  • Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and respond to employee payroll inquiries clearly and professionally.
  • Experience with US and UK payroll legislation and best practices; prior work in a multinational or large enterprise environment is an advantage.
  • Relevant education such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; professional payroll certifications (e.g., CPP) are a plus.
