Banking Operations Architect/Consultant (Payments & Stablecoin Infrastructure)

Arc.dev

United States

Description

The project

Adigital growth and product consultancy, is building the orchestration engine behind a new stablecoin infrastructure product for a US banking client. Discovery is complete; the 7.5‐month build phase starts now, targeting a pilot go‐live in February 2027. This is a 0‐to‐1 build: nothing is operational yet, and this role shapes how the bank’s business and operations side works with the new system.

What you’ll own

• Payments and exception‐flow design — translating banking operations (compliance, reconciliation, treasury) into the platform’s target design

• Exception‐flow mapping and redesign of operational processes (daily treasury, service blueprint)

• Runbooks and operator documentation

• Training and enablement for the bank’s existing operational roles as the new system comes online

• Change management and stakeholder/SteerCo communications, working with the Sr. Business Architect

• Support on vendor/partner coordination, regulatory and legal alignment, and progress toward stage‐gate sign‐offs

• Support on handover from build to the bank’s operations team at go‐live

What you’ll bring

• Strong domain expertise in US banking: compliance, reconciliation, treasury operations, and payments

• Working knowledge of the certifications and standards banking‐grade infrastructure has to meet

• Comfort operating at the intersection of business process and technical infrastructure — able to engage with system design without being an engineer

• Experience translating operational or compliance requirements into process design and documentation

• Client‐facing experience; full‐time availability

Nice to have: cybersecurity domain knowledge (e.g. banking InfoSec standards, controls, or risk frameworks); exposure to stablecoins, blockchain, or crypto infrastructure.
