To strengthen our team, we are looking for IT Filed Operations Technician to join our Y‑EMEA Headquarters in Lummen.

As an IT technician, you will have the following responsibilities and main activities:

1) IT Operational Tasks

Provide first-line support for local users as well as remote support for users in the region.

  • Hardware and software support on site;
  • Support and maintenance for laptops, desktops, (imaging/reimaging), MDF's, and mobile phones

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance on server and network equipment.
  • Handle and resolve tickets according to established KPIs.
  • Provide occasional out-of-office-hours support when required.
  • Execute daily tasks assigned by management, users, or external sources within the defined area of responsibility (Hardware/Software).
  • Take appropriate actions, perform maintenance, and apply updates to configuration items to ensure business continuity and information security.
  • Participate in the IT Hotline Service as needed.

2) IT Services and Projects

Provide high quality with respect to IT services and project.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide end-user training and deliver technical support related to infrastructure projects.
  • Work closely with IT management to achieve organizational goals.
  • Support and collaborate on IT projects.
  • Cooperate on business-related projects within the IT scope.
  • Enforce an promote IT security standards.

3) IT Administrative and Technical Tasks

Key responsibilities:

  • Execute moderately complex, predefined tasks across a variety of contexts, including, some non-routine activities.
  • Improve and adapt existing methods and processes based on practical experience and observed needs.

4) IT Assets Management

Support IT management in the following areas:

Key responsibilities:

  • Management of IT-related assets, including assignment, inventory control, and full lifecycle management.
  • Ensuring compliance with software licensing requirements.
  • Performing software audits and maintaining accurate records.

In addition the following qualifications are required to perform this role:

  • A bachelor degree in IT or Computer Science
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience is an advantage, however not required
  • Professional experience in Ticketing Systems
  • Relevant experience in Hardware Support
  • Relevant experience in a complex IT environment is a plus
  • Fluent in Ducth and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong MS Office Skills
