Release Manager

Omada

Warsaw

Description

Own the heartbeat of how we ship

Every day, CI/CD pipelines push changes into production. Every six weeks, our cloud platform reaches thousands of customers. Three times a year, a major on-premises release goes out the door. And when something urgent lands, a hotfix must move fast and flawlessly. You are the person who makes all of that happen - on time, predictably, and with everyone aligned.

At Omada, a global leader in Identity Governance and Administration, we’re scaling one of the most advanced SaaS security platforms in the industry. As our dedicated Release Manager, you’ll be the single point of ownership and accountability for our release process across 10+ scrum teams, spanning both our cloud and on-premises products.

This is a high-visibility leadership role where your judgment, communication, and steadiness under pressure directly shape the quality and reliability of what we deliver to customers, securing the world’s identities.

Location: Warsaw, Poland or Alicante, Spain

Working model: Hybrid - 3 days/week in office, where alignment happens fast and in person

What you’ll own

  • Drive the end-to-end release process across every cadence - daily CI/CD releases, our cloud platform (6-week cadence), our on-premises software (3 major releases per year), and the hotfix process. You set the rhythm and you own the outcome.
  • Be the orchestrator across 10+ scrum teams, partnering with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, discipline leads, architects, and engineering to plan and land releases against clear quality and release standards.
  • Own the release calendar. Maintain a single, authoritative release schedule across cloud, on-premises, and hotfix cadences, and keep every stakeholder aligned to it - from scrum teams to senior business and technical leadership.
  • Communicate clearly and often - scope, release-criteria status, risks, and progress - to every stakeholder, from engineers to senior business and technical leadership.
  • See risks before they become problems. Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks to each release cycle, and escalate impediments decisively to keep delivery on track.
  • Keep the wider organization ready. Ensure Support, Customer Success, and other customer-facing teams have advance, detailed knowledge of the features and fixes in every release - and notify everyone of changes or delays in good time.
  • Make the invisible measurable. Define KPIs and own tracking and reporting on release readiness and on strategic initiatives that span multiple releases.
  • Keep the process audit-ready. Ensure the release process stays compliant with our ITSM policies and procedures, which are audited twice a year for SOC 2 and annually for ISO.
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement. Run post-mortems and lead initiatives that raise reliability, predictability, and transparency across teams.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years in release management (or an equivalent delivery-ownership role) in a cloud software environment, with a track record of delivering complex systems or services successfully.
  • Exceptional communicator - confident and clear in writing and in person, across multiple levels of business and technical leadership. This is the heart of the role.
  • Strong command of CI/CD - you understand Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines and how modern software moves from commit to production.
  • Hands-on experience with a CI/CD and release toolchain such as Azure DevOps for builds, deployments, and test management.
  • Comfortable in Agile, multi-team environments and experienced working with distributed teams across locations and time zones.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the software lifecycle, from specification through testing to deployment.
  • Sharp prioritization and problem-solving - detail-oriented, yet able to identify what truly matters. Self-directed and adaptable, you stay effective under pressure and raise the level of every team you work with.

Nice to have:

  • Experience managing releases for on-premises software alongside cloud
  • Exposure to scaled-agile ways of working (e.g. SAFe / Release Train Engineering)
  • A background or interest in the cybersecurity domain
  • A master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
