Work Environment

This remote position requires periodic travel throughout the United States, averaging 25–40%. What You’ll Get to Do

Echo Power is seeking a self-motivated Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of turnkey projects from initiation through closeout. In this role, you will take ownership of day-to-day project execution, coordinating closely with Engineers, Construction Managers, subcontractors, and customers to keep projects aligned with scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality expectations.

This position is ideal for a project management professional who can manage competing priorities, communicate effectively across internal and external teams, and proactively drive progress in a fast-paced engineering and construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned projects from setup and planning through execution and closeout
  • Manage schedules, milestones, deliverables, and progress updates
  • Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and cross-functional partners to align scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality expectations
  • Serve as a primary client and stakeholder contact, providing clear communication, reporting, and expectation management
  • Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, procurement coordination, invoice review, and cost tracking
  • Oversee project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting notes, and project records
  • Identify risks, issues, and constraints; drive timely resolution to keep projects moving forward
  • Lead closeout activities, including final documentation, commissioning support, deliverables, and record transition
  • Participate in job walks, site visits, field coordination, and project meetings, as needed

What You Bring

  • Strong understanding of project management principles, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and stakeholder management
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, procurement, contract administration, and cost control
  • Ability to independently plan, schedule, execute, and close out projects with appropriate escalation
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage expectations and align internal and external teams
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, evaluate options, and make informed decisions
  • Ability to balance competing priorities across scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and customer needs
  • Detail-oriented approach to project documentation, reporting, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and records
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365; experience with Microsoft Project, CMiC, or similar project management tools preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25–40%

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2–5 years of project management experience, preferably in construction

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $79,000 – $135,000 annually (based on education and experience)
