About Supra
Supra is shifting the paradigm for mineral separation by unlocking higher purity, lower cost, and rapidly scalable recovery technology. Supra spun out of The University of Austin at Texas in 2025 and closed a pre-seed round in 2026 with participation from the university, Rio Tinto, and venture capital investors.
The Role
Reporting to the CEO, this intern will support commercial growth by sourcing, qualifying, and advancing feedstock partner opportunities. This is a hands-on opportunity to work directly with Supra’s leadership on real commercial deals in the critical minerals space.
Core Responsibilities
Pipeline Development
- Identify and research potential partners (mines, circular partners in semiconductor manufacturing, defense contractors, and others).
- Conduct outbound outreach (email, LinkedIn, warm intros).
- Manage inbounds from the website and follow up with commercial prospects, while flagging investor and other inbounds for the CEO.
- Optimize and maintain the partner spreadsheet.

Deal Support & Internal Coordination
- Prepare briefs for the CEO and COO before calls.
- Join customer calls to take notes, monitor responses, and suggest improvements to the feedstock partner engagement process.
- Draft follow-ups and manage next steps in coordination with the Director of R&D.
- Support pilot scoping when applicable (volumes, timelines, economics) and maintain clear written records on timelines and commitments.

Market Intelligence
- Deliver a monthly report to the company with critical minerals industry updates.
- Track pricing trends (Sc, Y, Li, Ti, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Al, Ga, In, Si, As, Pr, Nd, Dy, Tb, Pt, and Au).
- Monitor competitor / partner activity.
- Understand supply chains for our target minerals of gallium and scandium.
Compensation
- $1,000 per week; expectation to work 20+ hours per week
- Expected hours and size of stipend can be adjusted based on time of year.
- Potential equity bonus based on performance.
