About the Role
The Web & AI Manager will lead Gilded's web and search offering, blending search strategy across SEO and AEO, hands-on web management, and the design of AI-augmented workflows that raise the whole firms output.
This role blends leadership, technical execution, and internal enablement, ranging from managing 10+ live client sites and driving search strategy on major accounts to shipping the AI workflows that make everyone else faster.
Responsibilites
- Manage and maintain 10+ active client websites on WordPress and Shopify (uptime, updates, feature builds, performance, security).
- Lead search strategy across the client book (SEO, AEO).
- Design and deploy AI-augmented workflows across web, search, content, and beyond.
- Run client-facing conversations on strategic web and search engagements.
Skills
- Deep hands-on experience with WordPress and Shopify — theme customization, plugins, performance, security.
- Strong technical fluency across SEO and AEO.
- Content strategy chops: keyword and query research, topic clusters, on-page optimization, and structured content designed to be cited by generative engines.
- Demonstrable experience shipping with AI tools — not just experimenting, but building workflows that changed how you or your team worked.
- Excellent client-facing communication — you can run a discovery call and explain trade-offs without jargon.
- Self-directed operator comfortable in a small-team environment.
