Senior Business Analyst – Risk Management
Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is looking to add a Senior Business Analyst – Risk Management to their team on a 12-month contract basis.
This role will support risk-related initiatives by working closely with business, technology, compliance, and risk stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, support system enhancements, and help deliver key project outcomes.
Must-Have Skills:
- 7+ years of Business Analyst experience
- Strong experience working within risk management, financial services, banking, insurance, or capital markets
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
- Strong understanding of risk processes, controls, governance, reporting, or regulatory requirements
- Experience creating BRDs, process maps, user stories, test plans, and UAT documentation
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work with both business and technology teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Advanced Excel and strong MS Office skills
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with credit risk, market risk, operational risk, enterprise risk, or regulatory risk
- Experience with risk reporting or data governance initiatives
- Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall project environments
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Power BI, SQL, or Tableau
- Prior experience supporting regulatory, compliance, or transformation projects
- CBAP, PMP, FRM, CFA, or other relevant certification/designation
