Frankfurt Rhine-Main Metropolitan Area
(Senior) Manager Risk Management | Frankfurt
The opportunity:
Most risk management roles keep you reporting on risks other people have already decided how to handle. This one puts you in charge of the framework itself. You'd shape how an internationally operating industrial group identifies, assesses and manages risk at group level, with a direct line into senior stakeholders across the business.
The role:
→ Own the development and enhancement of the group's integrated risk management system, ensuring risks are caught early and assessed strategically.
→ Keep the group's risk-bearing capacity aligned with business targets and regulatory demands, including CSRD, ESG reporting and the EU taxonomy.
→ Set up and run a group-wide risk committee, from content and agenda through to following up on actions.
→ Act as the go-to contact for functions including Internal Audit, Compliance, HSEQ, IT and Legal on risk-related matters.
→ Own external risk reporting for the annual financial statement.
What you'll need:
→ A degree in economics, business law, industrial engineering or a comparable field.
→ Several years' experience in risk management, ideally at a publicly listed international industrial company.
→ In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as IFRS, CSRD and IDW PS 340.
→ Fluent German and English, written and spoken.
