About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Internal ISO Auditors to support a series of management system audits across London, UK and Frankfurt, Germany. This is a short-term contract opportunity (7 days), with the preference for the successful auditor (or auditing team) to complete both audit programmes over two consecutive weeks during September or October. The successful candidate will conduct internal audits across multiple ISO management systems, ensuring compliance with organisational standards, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting continual improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal audits against ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001.
- Review the effectiveness of management systems and assess compliance with applicable ISO standards.
- Identify non-conformities, observations, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive audit reports with practical recommendations.
- Liaise with key stakeholders throughout the audit process.
- Maintain a professional and objective approach while ensuring audits are completed in accordance with recognised auditing principles.
- Support continual improvement by verifying the implementation of corrective actions where required.
Audit Schedule:
- London, UK: 3-day audit - ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001
- Frankfurt, Germany: 4-day audit - ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrated experience conducting internal ISO management system audits.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- ISO 9001 – Quality Management Systems
- ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems
- ISO 14001 – Environmental Management Systems
- ISO 27001 – Information Security Management Systems (required for Frankfurt audit)
- Recognised Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor qualifications are highly desirable.
- Excellent report writing and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach with project teams.
- Previous experience auditing engineering, construction, infrastructure, or similar operational environments is advantageous.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
