Overview

We are seeking a Global Accounts Manager to join our Global Base Oils Development Division.

The Global Base Oils Development Division is responsible for executing the Lubes value chain strategy, and ensuring value creation through coordination with our base oils affiliates. The focus is under five segment pillars including Strategy & Capital Planning, Technology & Product Quality, Global Accounts Management, Revenue Management and Logistics & Supply Optimization.

The primary role will be to drive business growth and manage Global Accounts, with a focus on strategizing placement in select geography targets and securing new opportunities. The candidate is expected to be responsible for negotiating global framework agreements that align with our Lubes value chain strategic objectives, serving as the unified window for the base oils business across our three base oils affiliates.

In this role, the candidate is expected to develop and steward commercial KPIs and conduct quarterly business reviews with global accounts to ensure the highest quality of relationship and company reputation. Expertise will be essential in navigating complex global accounts, some of which may already have existing business relationships with Aramco beyond base oils.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Identifying Global Account targets, defining and preparing negotiation strategies tailored to specific geographic placement.
  • Set up and hold discussions with Global Accounts to establish relationships, and execute global account strategies to deliver multi-year account plans to drive long-term growth.
  • As the single commercial interface for Global Accounts across affiliates, the expectation is to lead preparations of commercial negotiation, resolve escalations and develop commercial playbooks for business-as-usual operations.
  • Leading regular performance reviews to monitor volumes, margins and service levels, providing insights to inform future business decisions and optimize account management is expected.

Minimum requirements

As the successful candidate you will have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from a recognized and approved program or a related field degree. A higher degree is favorable
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B Sales or Key Accounts Management in Base Oils, Lubricants or Downstream Oil &Gas.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience in managing complex, multi-region customer negotiations
  • Ability to demonstrate strong stakeholder management and governance discipline.
