We are seeking an EMEA / AME Accounting & Consolidation Specialist to join our team in Calderara di Reno (BO).
MISSION
Accounting, finance & Controlling is responsible for defining and implementing financial strategies and policies at a global level. Accounting & Consolidation specialist ensures the elaboration of consolidated financial statements and the compliance with local and international accounting regulation within Group Accounting, Consolidation & Tax Team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports the branches in the closing operations and the preparation of the documentation necessary for the preparation of the consolidated financial statements of the group (intercompany transactions, changes and movements in the items of shareholders 'equity, reconciliation statement between shareholders' equity and profit for the year between parent company and branches);
- Support branches teams to implement and manage accounting records on SAP.
- Supports branches accounting team, as an internal accounting advisor, the formal and substantial compliance to local accounting regulation and monitors the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the results reported comply with generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IAS/IFRS);
- Supports in the elaboration of financial statements of individual companies and consolidated financial statements of the Group in compliance with legislation, company rules and timing guidelines;
- Support companies involved in M&A transaction to adhere group procedures
- Support SAP implementation in companies involved
- Provides advice to improve accounting management systems and procedures, and initiates corrective actions, if necessary, to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
- Supports branches accounting team in the elaboration of monthly and annual reports monitoring of the local and Group balance sheet ( Free Cash Flow, Net Financial Position, Ebit…) and propose corrective actions if necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Educational background in Economics, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma in a relevant discipline)
- Strong knowledge of international accounting principles (IFRS)
- Solid experience in auditing, accounting, and financial consolidation processes
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP, and familiarity with Business Intelligence tools
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, particularly in an audit/review context
- Previous experience in a consulting firm is considered a strong advantage
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
The annual compensation range for this position is €38,000 - €45,000, with additional benefits.
This compensation range has been determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including the scope of the role, required skills, relevant professional experience, qualifications, and level of responsibility.
