Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our Human Resources team in Switzerland for a period of 12 months. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various HR functions, including employee lifecycle processes, Payroll, HR administration, and HR projects. The ideal candidate is proactive, eager to learn, and interested in developing a strong foundation in HR within an international and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily HR operations and provide administrative assistance across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee records, and HR documentation
  • Support HR processes such as contract preparation, employee data management, reporting, and HR system updates
  • Support monthly payroll preparation by assisting with payroll-related administration, data collection, and coordination
  • Assist in the preparation of HR documents, presentations, and internal communications
  • Support the organization and coordination of employee engagement initiatives, trainings, and HR projects
  • Collaborate with local and global HR teams on various initiatives and process improvements

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • First practical experience in HR, administration, recruiting, or a similar area is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proactive, reliable, and service-oriented with a hands-on attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); experience with HR systems is a plus
