Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced ServiceNow QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing ServiceNow applications, including both manual and automated testing using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF). The role involves validating ServiceNow implementations, integrations, workflows, and customizations to ensure high-quality and reliable releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual test cases for various ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and related applications.
- Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate ServiceNow workflows, catalog items, business rules, integrations, and custom applications.
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and REST Assured.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
- Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test execution reports.
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, best practices, and Agile methodologies.
- Provide testing metrics, status reports, and recommendations for continuous quality improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–6 years of overall QA/testing experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow testing.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and modules.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Experience in API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of test case design, test execution, and defect management processes.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with ServiceNow Test Management.
- Exposure to CI/CD and test automation best practices.
