About The Role

Join Swinburne's Apprenticeships and Traineeships team and play an important role in supporting apprentices, trainees and employers throughout their learning journey.

Reporting to the Apprenticeship and Traineeship Co-ordinator, you'll provide specialist advice on enrolments, study plans and course progression, helping students and employers navigate their training with confidence. You'll be the go-to contact for complex enquiries, working closely with teaching staff, StudentHQ and external partners to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will:

  • Provide specialist advice on enrolments, course structures and study plans.
  • Respond to student and employer enquiries, resolving complex issues with professionalism and care.
  • Build strong relationships with teaching staff, StudentHQ, industry partners and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain accurate student records and support compliance with apprenticeship and traineeship requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to continuous service improvement.

About You

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Experience delivering high-quality administration and customer service in a busy, client-focused environment.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence supporting a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach, sound judgement and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong digital skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Knowledge of the Victorian vocational education and apprenticeship system is highly regarded, while experience in the Australian higher education or vocational education sectors is desirable.

Qualifications

Completion of a degree or associate diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
