Job Description
Quarto is seeking a Special Sales Executive to join the fast-paced Special Sales team. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic and organised Special Sales Assistant/UK Sales Assistant looking to progress in Sales.
Quarto creates inspiring books for adults and children published across the globe. As the Special Sales Executive, reporting to the Head of Special Sales, you will manage and grow sales across both the adult and children’s publishing lists into Special Sales retailers; from major wholesalers, select key high street accounts and specialist retailers.
Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09.30 am to 5.30 pm. This role does include select weekends in line with trade show schedules. We currently operate a discretionary hybrid model, with three days in our London office and two working from home.
About The Role
You’ll join a focused Special Sales team, taking on a mixture of high street and wholesale accounts and driving sales across the entire Quarto list, adults and children’s titles. You’ll collaborate across departments internally, develop new business initiatives, and become a key member of the UK Sales team feeding back on acquisitions and market trends.

You’ll bring at least one year’s experience within Sales, and a desire to grow and learn within the Special Sales department. You’ll excel in a busy environment, where initiative and proactivity is vital, alongside having a keen eye for detail and a confident approach to sales.
