Everllence Hellas is looking for an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer – Turbomachinery to join our Engineering Systems, Instruments & Controls team in Piraeus, Greece, and contribute to international engineering projects that support the transition towards a more sustainable future.

In this role, you will be involved in the design, specification, and execution of instrumentation and automation systems for international turbomachinery projects. Working closely with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across our global organization, you will contribute throughout the project lifecycle—from engineering and documentation to commissioning and technical support.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Electrical and automation engineering of turbomachinery instrumentation, including the engineering of packages as well as the design, specification and execution of I&C components in the function of a sub-project manager
  • Design / develop and specify instrumentation and automation of assemblies and systems based on customer specifications, standards and internal regulations
  • Prepare and review I&C design documents, including but not limited to, specifications, calculations, data sheets, reports, loop sheets, lists/indices, control narratives P&IDs etc.
  • Review and evaluate customer specifications, consult with customers on technical solutions and coordination of suppliers for all I&C components
  • Prepare assembly and commissioning documents, including wiring diagrams, specifications and work instructions
  • Ensure design/engineering documents meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements
  • Collaborate, interact and support colleagues from the Headquarters
  • Participate in technical negotiations/clarifications with suppliers and customers
  • Support during commissioning and during the whole lifecycle of the project

Who You Are

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on measurement, instruments, controls and/or automation technology or comparable
  • Understanding of components such as PLC’s, HMI’s, VFD drives, safety devices, field instrumentation sensors & actuator, memory modules, and network components and communication protocols will be considered a plus
  • Professional experience in packaging of turbomachinery or in process plant engineering and in the planning and execution of projects, Project Management skills are desirable
  • Sound knowledge of relevant international standards and guidelines (EN, ANSI, API, VGB, etc.), knowledge of explosion protection and functional safety is desirable
  • Fluency in Greek and English (additional languages beneficial, e.g. German)
  • Team-oriented, excellent communication skills, systematic and conscientious way of working with willingness to travel worldwide occasionally
  • General understanding of all phases of project document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications
  • Experience with and use of tools: COMOS (desirable), SAP, MS Office
