Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Market Development Specialist. The individual in this role will be responsible for conducting market research, analyzing data, and identifying new business opportunities. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing market entry strategies, working cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams, and building relationships with customers to understand market needs. Additionally, the specialist will monitor market trends and provide insights to support strategic decision-making within the company.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in analyzing data to derive meaningful insights
  • Experience in conducting Market Research and identifying growth opportunities
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven experience in Sales and Customer Service to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work independently in a remote setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience in the construction or tools industry is a plus
  • Workload includes on-site product demonstrations, pre & post sales support & training of our Husqvarna Construction portfolio supporting the NE Region Team for Distribution.
  • Ideally, candidate should reside in Hartford, CT or Albany, NY area to best serve the area.
  • Candidate should expect 75% travel within the New England markets & 25% home office.
  • Candidate should be proficient in: Microsoft programs, CRM, Power Bi, etc.
