2. About the Opportunity:
The Learning and Development Manager is responsible for shaping and executing learning and development initiatives that support leadership growth, organizational capability, and employee potential. This role has a strategic and hands-on impact, developing programs that influence organizational culture and contribute to workforce readiness across multiple locations.
3. Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and improve orientation, onboarding, and management training programs
• Manage leadership development initiatives including emerging leader and mentorship programs
• Oversee tuition reimbursement and technical training platforms
• Support specialized training such as IT, safety, quality, and department-specific programs
• Create and execute multi-year learning strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Assess learning needs and establish annual priorities and plans
• Partner with leadership to identify capability gaps and workforce readiness
• Develop competency models and career development frameworks
• Establish KPIs and use analytics to evaluate training effectiveness and ROI
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on workforce data
• Manage vendor relationships and external learning resources
• Serve as an internal consultant for employee development and organizational learning strategies
• Ensure initiatives comply with industry standards and organizational objectives
• Manage budgets and lead cross-functional development projects
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops as needed
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
4. Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 6 years experience in Learning & Development or related fields
• Experience leading enterprise-wide learning or organizational development initiatives
Preferred:
• CPLP, CPTD, SHRM-CP/SCP, or ATD credentials preferred
• Experience with geographically dispersed or multi-state workforces preferred
• Experience in engineering, technical, or professional services environments preferred
• Experience managing learning platforms, HRIS, or LMS (Coursera preferred)
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Annual salary range: $105,000 - $135,000 based on experience, qualifications, and location
