Overview

The Account Manager is a role who owns brand partner relationships and drives successful campaign execution for Creator Match. Serving as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned brand partners, this outcome-focused role ensures clear communication, strategic alignment, and high client satisfaction across a concurrent portfolio of active campaigns. This role independently manages all aspects of client communication, campaign coordination, and brand-facing events, delivering performance analysis and escalating issues with urgency and precision.

Role Summary

The Account Manager is fundamentally a high-volume coordination and operations role with a client-facing layer. Their responsibility is to manage multiple concurrent client campaigns simultaneously - each at a different phase of the campaign lifecycle - while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and professionalism across all. Recurring deliverables (Monday status updates, bi-weekly call agendas, wrap reports) are non-negotiable and the position owns the clock on all of them.

In this role, a missed handoff or delayed communication has direct client impact. Candidates must bring an internalized standard of accuracy and follow-through, not a supervised one. The expectation is that work moves forward without prompting.

Our most successful Account Managers come from live event production and operations backgrounds. If you have coordinated brand dinners, creator activations, client events, or multi-vendor productions, that experience is directly relevant here and will set you apart. Creator marketing knowledge is valued but can be developed on the job; operational instincts, event execution discipline, and deadline follow-through are essential from day one.

Core Skillsets Required:

Brand Relationship Management

  • Experience serving as primary client contact in marketing, advertising, agency, or social media campaigns
  • Strong client communication and expectation management skills across all stages of a campaign
  • Ability to proactively surface concerns, maintain brand confidence, and resolve issues without unnecessary escalation
  • Preference for experience with B2B marketing or LinkedIn/professional platform campaigns

Campaign Execution & Coordination

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns in different phases (sourcing, content review, live, wrap) without task slippage
  • Experience translating brand objectives into campaign briefs and coordinating execution across internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of KPIs, campaign metrics, and performance reporting
  • Disciplined approach to tracker maintenance, timeline management, and cross-functional handoffs
  • Delivers recurring outputs (status updates, agendas, wrap reports) on time without prompting

Event Planning & Brand Experience Coordination

  • Experience planning and executing client-facing events including brand dinners, creator meetups, influencer activations, or sponsor events
  • Ability to manage event logistics end-to-end: venue coordination, vendor communication, guest lists, and day-of execution
  • Proven ability to represent the brand professionally in live, client-facing settings
  • Comfort managing last-minute changes and real-time problem-solving during events

Client Communication & Reporting

  • Experience preparing client-facing updates, performance summaries, and post-campaign reports
  • Proven ability to facilitate kickoff calls, check-ins, and wrap-up meetings
  • Manages client feedback loops and ensures implementation across relevant teams
  • Communicates with clarity and professionalism via Slack, email, and video conferencing

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Experience coordinating across campaign managers, leadership, and finance stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills to track deliverables, approvals, and timelines across multiple clients
  • Ability to manage escalations, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain forward momentum
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Notion, Asana, Monday.com, or similar) and CRM systems

Independent Contractor Readiness

  • Operates autonomously with proven ability to manage client relationships with minimal supervision
  • Uses own tools, systems, and workflow to deliver consistently on defined scope
  • May serve multiple clients concurrently; Creator Match work must receive committed, reliable availability
  • Self-directed and outcome-accountable - does not require task-level direction to execute

Important Culture Notes

We’re not going to sugarcoat it… this is NOT your typical 9-5 corporate job.

We work long hours, juggle a lot at once, often work weekends, and bend over backwards for our clients. It’s fast-paced, high-stress, and not for the faint of heart. We run lean, move fast, and only bring on A-team players. Everyone is an owner, in the trenches, and expected to take full ownership while having each other’s backs. If you're looking for structure, predictability, or a cushy corporate setup where you can “coast”, this isn't the right fit.

That said, we genuinely love what we’re building. We get to run impactful campaigns with some of the coolest billion-dollar Brands on the planet. We help B2B Creators get paid. We thrive in the chaos, wear multiple hats, learn a ton, and have a blast doing it.
