Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Associate Vice President – Sales & Partnerships to drive enterprise revenue growth and strategic ecosystem partnerships for our Enterprise AI Consulting business across APAC markets.
This is a strategic leadership role focused on building and scaling enterprise sales, creating high-value partnerships, and expanding market presence. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong C-level relationships, developing channel and alliance partnerships, and driving large consulting-led AI deals from pipeline creation to closure.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, helping them understand how AI can solve critical business challenges and unlock transformation opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Sales & Revenue Growth
- Own and drive revenue targets for the Enterprise AI Consulting business across APAC.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities through outbound sales, strategic networking, referrals, and partner channels.
- Identify, engage, and close large AI consulting opportunities with enterprise customers across India, Southeast Asia, ANZ, and Japan.
- Develop account growth strategies for strategic enterprise customers and expand wallet share through consultative selling.
- Lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles—from prospecting and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and closure.
- Drive large deal closures involving AI consulting, AI engineering, and enterprise AI solution deployments.
Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with hyperscalers, cloud providers, technology partners, system integrators, and consulting firms.
- Identify partnership opportunities that accelerate market access, lead generation, and joint GTM initiatives.
- Develop alliance-led revenue opportunities through co-selling, co-marketing, and joint solution offerings.
- Strengthen ecosystem relationships with AI technology vendors and enterprise platforms.
Client Engagement & Consultative Selling
- Engage with CXO stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, Chief Digital Officers, Heads of AI/Data, and Business Leaders.
- Understand enterprise business challenges and position AI transformation solutions aligned to business KPIs and ROI.
- Conduct executive-level discovery conversations to uncover high-impact AI use cases and transformation priorities.
- Work closely with Presales and AI Consulting teams to craft compelling solution proposals, business cases, and executive presentations.
Market Expansion & GTM Strategy
- Develop and execute sales strategies for expanding into new enterprise accounts and industry verticals.
- Build strong market intelligence on enterprise AI trends, competitor positioning, and customer demand.
- Identify high-growth vertical opportunities across BFSI, Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Telecom, and Logistics.
- Provide market feedback to leadership to influence offerings, pricing, and GTM strategy.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Presales, Delivery, AI Engineering, Product, and Leadership teams.
- Improve sales effectiveness by building scalable sales playbooks, messaging, and best practices.
- Mentor and guide team members while contributing to building a high-performance enterprise sales organization.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12–18 years of experience in Enterprise Sales, Strategic Partnerships, Business Development, or Account Management within AI, Cloud, SaaS, Digital Transformation, or Enterprise Technology.
- Strong track record of consistently achieving or exceeding enterprise revenue targets.
- Proven experience selling complex consulting-led or solution-led deals to large enterprises / Fortune 500 customers.
- Strong network with enterprise decision-makers and industry stakeholders across APAC.
- Deep understanding of enterprise technology sales and consultative selling methodologies.
Good understanding of AI technologies including:
- Generative AI
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- AI Agents / Copilots
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- NLP / Computer Vision
- Enterprise AI Platforms
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in deal structuring, negotiation, pricing, and contract closure.
- Excellent executive presence, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth environments with high ownership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with AI startups, global consulting firms, hyperscalers, cloud service providers, or enterprise software companies.
- Strong relationships within APAC enterprise ecosystem and partner network.
- Experience building strategic alliances with cloud or technology providers such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, Google Cloud, or NVIDIA.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
