Your Impact

You will contribute to the development and execution of best-in-class global communications programs, events, and publications that will enable client activation and funnel building across all channels.

By aligning with clear project briefs and leveraging insights, you will ensure communications efforts are strategically focused and deliver measurable impact. You will develop, support and execute creative communication ideas and tactics that build awareness of McKinsey’s capabilities, knowledge, and assets. You will help protect McKinsey’s reputation, punctuate its expertise, and contribute to bringing campaigns to life in relevant ways across channels, platforms, and stakeholders.

You will be based in Buenos Aires as part of McKinsey’s Reach & Engagement team for Spanish-speaking Latin America. This team is one of three regional communications hubs in Latin America, alongside teams in São Paulo serving Brazil and Mexico City serving Mexico. Supporting stakeholders across multiple countries, practices, and functions, the team plays a central role in amplifying McKinsey’s insights and strengthening engagement with clients and external audiences throughout the region. You will work closely with communications, external relations, and publishing colleagues in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with significant exposure to regional and global initiatives.

You will create clear, structured, and engaging written communications products (e.g., memos, emails, strategic marketing briefs, short-form content, blogs, talking points/scripts, Q&A), that rigorously follow conventions of written English (and local languages when relevant). You’ll proactively collaborate with internal and external clients and stakeholders to develop and advise on communications, ensuring alignment with audience needs at different stages of the marketing funnel. You will help drive development and execution of communications for reports, special projects (e.g., digital strategy design, knowledge partnership strategy), storytelling (e.g., social posts, case studies), external/internal conferences, and/or events (e.g., forums, webinars, roundtables), actively using project briefs to create alignment and drive strategic outcomes. You will conduct strategic assessments to support execution and prioritization of communication campaigns and events (e.g., competitor insights, event speaker research) and collate into digestible format for leadership. You’ll ensure consistent branding (i.e., firm's signature voice, visuals, and narrative) across communications platforms and channels in support of relevant brand pivots, ensuring resonance with target audiences and alignment with broader objectives.

You’ll contribute to defining appropriate best-in-class communications and events objectives and strategies to achieve them (e.g., paid media, earned media, CRM support, social media support, web articles, websites, newsletters, storytelling, messaging documents, presentations). You’ll lead complex projects/workstreams independently or with designated teams, aligning with key stakeholders as relevant. You will drive reputation-building programs through a mix of publishing activities (e.g., monitoring of media relations and public relations, targeted knowledge dissemination). You’ll develop strategy and corresponding metrics to measure impact and implement related data collection/reporting mechanisms, applying analysis to optimize decision-making and outreach strategies across the marketing funnel following firm unified measurement guidelines and frameworks. You’ll lead and execute plans to address routine reputation risks, with appropriate alignment, as relevant. You’ll manage data through reports and scorecards to track and analyze relevant metrics and contextualize insights (e.g., client development, ROI, share of voice, mapping media engagement programs). You will synthesize and share audience insights regularly with stakeholders, adjusting outreach approaches to optimize engagement. You will coordinate the creation of contact databases to maximize dissemination and engagement.

A significant portion of your work will involve supporting the planning and execution of client-facing events, including conferences, forums, roundtables, and other engagement initiatives. You will collaborate with stakeholders across functions and geographies to help deliver high-quality experiences that strengthen relationships, showcase McKinsey’s expertise, and advance strategic communications objectives. In parallel, you will contribute to the development and execution of integrated communications plans that amplify the impact of these initiatives and drive engagement with priority audiences.
