The Role:

As a Senior ICT Security Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting and securing the company's ICT environment. This position combines ICT administration, technical support, and cybersecurity responsibilities, providing an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on experience across infrastructure, systems, and information security. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure our technology services remain secure, resilient, and efficient.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues across user accounts.
  • Install, maintain, patch, and monitor ICT systems, infrastructure, and applications to ensure reliable performance.
  • Manage user access, permissions, authentication, and regular access reviews.
  • Monitor security alerts, investigate or escalate incidents, and support vulnerability management and remediation.
  • Help maintain security technologies, including endpoint protection, firewalls, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Support security audits, compliance activities, and the maintenance of security documentation.
  • Maintain ICT assets, software licensing, and coordinate technology procurement and vendor relationships.
  • Contribute to the development of ICT security policies, standards, and user cybersecurity awareness initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in ICT support, systems administration, cybersecurity, or a similar technical role.
  • Experience with information security compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC2) is a plus

Must-Haves

  • Deep understanding of security administration and securing Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID or other identity and access management (IAM) platforms.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, including access control, phishing prevention, and password security.

Good-to-Haves

  • Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages.

Candidates with any of the following certifications are preferred:

  • CISSP / CISM
  • ISO 27001 Lead Auditor / Auditor
  • COBIT / CISA
  • CompTIA Security+
