Job Description — Project Manager (Peru)
Location: Lima, Peru (or remote within Peru)
Reports to: Head of Delivery
About the Role
Blue Polaris is looking for a senior Project Manager to lead delivery on enterprise technology engagements. This is a high-trust, high-visibility role for someone who can own outcomes end-to-end — not just execute a plan handed to them. You'll partner closely with delivery leadership, but you're expected to bring independent technical judgment, flag risk early, and stand behind the quality of your team's work even under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Own project planning, timelines, and budgets across complex, multi-workstream technology engagements
- Lead and coordinate technical project teams, holding the line on quality and delivery standards
- Manage stakeholder communication at an executive/client level — not just status updates, but framing trade-offs and options for decision-makers
- Identify risk early and drive mitigation — including surfacing disagreement on scope, approach, or timeline when the work is at stake
- Maintain clear documentation of decisions, especially where direction changes or trade-offs are made
Essential Skills
- Strong technical fluency in project delivery — able to evaluate work quality independently, not just relay it
- Skilled at communicating trade-offs and options with tact and professionalism, including when raising concerns about scope, approach, or quality
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and other modern PM methodologies
- Executive-level communication, written and verbal
- High energy, authenticity, and directness in how they operate day to day
Qualifications
- 7+ years leading technology project delivery, ideally in a consulting or client-facing environment
- Experience owning outcomes independently on ambiguous, complex projects — not just supporting a lead
- PM certification (PMP, Agile/Scrum) a plus, not required
What We're Looking For (Preferred)
- Experience with AI or business automation projects — enterprise automation platforms (IBM watsonx, Business Automation Workflow, RPA, or comparable) is a strong plus
- Background delivering for Fortune 100 or large enterprise clients
