About the Role
As a Senior SAP SD/MM Consultant, you will play a critical role in optimizing our clients' sales, distribution, and materials management processes using SAP technologies. You will be responsible for designing scalable workflows for logistics and procurement and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. You will actively contribute to the specification, implementation, rollout, and optimization of our clients' SAP system landscape, including their transition to S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic SAP SD/MM Consulting
- Act as a subject matter expert for SAP SD and MM modules.
- Translate business requirements into technical SAP solutions that enhance sales, procurement, and inventory processes.
- Consult business stakeholders (Sales, Procurement, Logistics) on best practices within SAP.
Project Management & Implementation
- Lead or participate in national and international SAP projects.
- Define and document functional specifications.
- Manage project timelines, risks, resources, and communication.
Operational Excellence & Support
- Ensure stable operation of the SAP SD/MM landscape.
- Analyze and resolve system incidents and change requests.
- Perform regular system configuration, maintenance, and testing.
Integration & Collaboration
- Work closely with SAP module experts and external partners.
- Support and integrate external tools and add-ons.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
- Contribute to internal controls and audit trails.
Your Profile
Professional Experience
- Minimum 6–8 years in SAP SD and MM modules.
- Experience in full SAP project lifecycles.
- International rollout and S/4HANA experience preferred.
Technical Skills
- Deep expertise in SAP SD (Sales, Billing, Shipping, Pricing) and MM (Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master).
- Understanding of SAP Fiori, S/4HANA, and integration with other SAP modules (FI, WM, PP). ABAP skills are mandatory.
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- SAP SD/MM Certification preferred.

- Leadership and mentoring abilities.
Language Requirements
- English fluency; German is a strong plus.
