English Writing Generalist (AI Training)

About The Role

What if your way with words could directly influence how AI communicates with millions of people? We're looking for skilled English Writing Generalists to help create, refine, and evaluate written content that trains the next generation of AI systems.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong English writing skills and a sharp eye for quality. No prior AI or tech experience needed — just a genuine command of the English language and a commitment to doing great work.

What You'll Do

  • Write, edit, and refine English content for clarity, accuracy, tone, and consistency
  • Evaluate AI-generated text and identify errors, ambiguities, or unnatural phrasing
  • Review grammar, spelling, structure, and style against detailed guidelines
  • Provide structured, actionable feedback on written quality
  • Work independently and asynchronously across a variety of writing tasks and topics

Who You Are

  • Native or near-native English fluency with strong written communication skills
  • Naturally detail-oriented with a sharp proofreading instinct
  • Comfortable evaluating diverse writing styles, tones, and subject matter
  • Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
  • No specific academic background or AI experience required

Nice to Have

  • Background in writing, editing, journalism, content creation, or communications
  • Experience with style guides, editorial standards, or quality assurance
  • Familiarity with AI writing tools or content platforms as an end user
