Job Title: Contract Sales Coordinator
Contract Duration: Immediate start through November 2026
Pay Rate: $30-$32/hr (35 hours/week on W2)
Location: New York, NY (2 days onsite)
Our client, a leading global organization in the information and professional services space, is seeking a Business Development & Sales Coordinator to support its U.S. commercial team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, client interaction, sales support, and helping drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct business development research and client analysis
- Identify and qualify prospective business opportunities
- Coordinate and schedule client meetings and sales calls
- Support lead generation and outreach initiatives
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and other systems
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity
- Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team
- Deliver excellent customer service to clients and prospects
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in sales support, business development, customer service, or a related role
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Client-facing experience with strong relationship-building abilities
- Scheduling and calendar management experience
- Customer service experience required
- Salesforce experience preferred
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Industry background can be broad; direct publishing experience is not required
- Sales or sales support experience strongly preferred
