Our health insurance client is seeking a Social Media Copywriter to assist with project-based work beginning mid-July through the end of October. This work is fully remote and is expected to average around 20-30 hours per week. Hours will fluctuate based on project volume and campaign needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging, platform-native social content for marketing campaigns.
- Adapt campaign messaging into social formats that drive engagement and performance.
- Write copy for social posts, carousels, short-form video, and related social media assets.
- Collaborate closely with designers, campaign teams, and stakeholders on integrated social campaigns.
- Support high-volume campaign cycles while maintaining consistency of brand voice and messaging.
- Incorporate feedback and adapt content quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of social media copywriting experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing content for:
- - Instagram (feed, stories, reels, carousels)
- - TikTok
- - Short-form video platforms
- Strong portfolio showcasing social-first campaign work and creative storytelling.
- Ability to write concise, engaging, audience-focused copy.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries.
- OEP/AEP or health insurance experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong portfolio and creative thinking are prioritized over specific industry experience.
Soft Skills:
- Adaptability and comfort with shifting priorities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Reliable, responsive, and able to consistently meet deadlines.
