Ansell is looking for a Intern, IT to join our team in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting the IT Infrastructure & Operations team in managing system changes, documentation, and implementation activities. You will gain hands-on exposure to system validation processes, business analysis, and cross-functional project coordination.

Responsibility: -

  • Conduct initial assessments of potential vendors to evaluate their risk profile.
  • Review vendor security practices and ensure alignment with company standards.
  • Assist in creation and maintenance of vendor risk management documentation, including SOPs and supporting process guides.
  • Communicate with vendors to collect necessary security documentation, certifications, and compliance evidence as part of onboarding and periodic reassessment.
  • Liaise with internal teams to gather inputs for vendor risk assessments.
  • Generate periodic vendor risk status reports for management review.
  • Compile and present findings from vendor risk assessments for review by the compliance team and senior leadership.
  • Synchronize vendor records across internal systems to establish one authoritative vendor inventory.
  • Monitor monthly vendor risk score changes and document root cause analysis for any score declines. Maintain an auditable trail of all follow-up actions.
  • Follow up with vendors on incomplete security questionnaires to close assessment gaps and improve score accuracy. Track and report on questionnaire completion rates.
  • Review the current vendor monitoring portfolio and recommend which low-value vendors could be replaced with higher-impact vendors.
  • Support migration and continuous improvement of the vendor risk classification model.

What you will bring?

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Finance, Business or similar field.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems, software applications, or system documentation
  • Analytical skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability
  • Cable to deliver in pressure work environment.
