The E-commerce Manager leads the strategy, buildout, and day-to-day performance of Coltene’s digital commerce ecosystem. This role owns the launch and ongoing optimization of a new Shopify-based storefront integrated with SAP. Success is measured by revenue growth, operational efficiency, customer experience, and the ability to scale a modern B2B dental products ecommerce channel. This role will report to the Director of Marketing for Coltene/SciCan North America.
Duties and responsibilities
Platform Ownership & Development
- Oversee the full implementation of a new Shopify store, including theme selection, UX/UI optimization, product architecture, and checkout configuration.
- Lead integration planning and execution between Shopify and SAP to ensure accurate product data, pricing, inventory, order flow, and financial reconciliation.
- Manage relationships with external developers, integration partners, and internal IT teams to ensure a stable, scalable, and secure platform.
- Maintain and optimize product catalogs, collections, search functionality, and merchandising logic.
Revenue Growth & Digital Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive e‑commerce growth strategy aligned with Coltene’s commercial goals.
- Own KPIs include revenue, conversion rate, average order value, customer acquisition cost, and retention metrics.
- Build and manage promotional calendars, pricing strategies, and digital merchandising initiatives.
- Partner with marketing to drive traffic through SEO, paid media, email, and content programs.
Operations & ERP Integrated Workflows
- Ensure seamless order processing, fulfillment, invoicing, and returns through ERP connected workflows and automated APIs.
- Collaborate with supply chain and finance teams to maintain accurate inventory, pricing, and product availability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data sync issues between Shopify and the ERP, coordinating fixes with technical teams.
- Establish SOPs for e‑commerce operations, including product onboarding, order management, and customer service escalation.
Customer Experience & Support
- Champion a frictionless digital buying experience for professionals, distributors, and end users.
- Oversee site performance, accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and page‑speed optimization.
- Implement tools for customer support, live chat, self‑service portals, and post‑purchase communication.
- Analyze customer behavior and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
Analytics & Continuous Optimization
- Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to track performance across the full funnel.
- Conduct A/B tests on site features, content, and promotions to improve conversion and retention.
- Use data to recommend enhancements to UX, product presentation, and marketing campaigns.
- Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends to keep Coltene’s digital presence modern and differentiated.
This is an onsite position. Hybrid schedule (2 days remote, 2 days onsite) is available after 90 days of employment.

Qualifications
The minimum qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability needed in order to successfully perform the job.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent additional work experience
- 5+ years of experience managing an e‑commerce channel, ideally in B2B, medical, dental, or regulated product environments.
- Deep hands-on experience with Shopify (Plus preferred), including apps, themes, and custom configurations.
- Proven experience integrating Shopify with ERP solutions, preferably SAP.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, analytics, and conversion optimization.
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects involving IT, marketing, sales, finance, and operations.
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Looker/Power BI, and marketing automation platforms.
- Excellent communication, vendor management, and project management skills.
