Role Description The Professor of Education is a full-time, on-site role based at the University of Peshawar in Peshawar. The role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in education, developing and updating curricula, and mentoring students in their academic and professional growth. Daily responsibilities include conducting and supervising research, publishing scholarly work, and contributing to academic conferences and seminars. The Professor will participate in departmental meetings, engage in academic planning, and provide leadership in educational initiatives and program development. Additional duties include supervising theses and dissertations, collaborating with colleagues on research and community outreach projects, and contributing to institutional service.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Education and demonstrated excellence in Teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Proven experience in Curriculum Development and instructional design for higher education programs.
• Established record of Research, including peer-reviewed publications and participation in academic conferences.
• Demonstrated Educational Leadership, including program coordination, committee work, or academic administration.
• Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in Education or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to teach and mentor a diverse student body.
• Experience in supervising postgraduate research and guiding theses or dissertations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and external partners, and to contribute to community and public service initiatives.
