About The Role
The Mobile Developer (Swift) at GrabJobs plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications that present Crossway content to a broad audience. This position is primarily focused on creating seamless and engaging mobile experiences, ensuring that our digital platforms align with our mission to communicate biblical truth and Christian values effectively. The role offers flexibility for remote work, with a preference for candidates who can periodically meet in Wheaton, Illinois, for collaborative sessions. The Mobile Developer will work closely with the Director of Mobile Development, providing regular updates on project progress, technical challenges, and innovative solutions to enhance our mobile offerings. This role is ideal for a passionate developer who values excellence, attention to detail, and a commitment to ministry.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess proficiency in mobile application development, specifically with Swift and SwiftUI, Objective-C, and UIKit. Experience with SQLite for local data management and Git for version control is essential. A demonstrated passion for excellence, meticulous attention to detail, and a self-motivated, organized approach are critical qualities. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within a team environment. A strong personal commitment to the Christian faith and alignment with the ministry’s vision is required, including active participation in a local church and a genuine love for God’s Word and His church.
